2,700 visitors to Petersham Open Gardens 2018
On Sunday June 3rd 2018 over 2,700 people visited the picturesque village of Petersham in Richmond upon Thames to view ten delightful gardens. Delicious teas were served in the beautiful gardens of Petersham Lodge and in the Sea Scout's field by the river where there was also a popular BBQ. At the Russel School parents provided ice cream and other refreshments and the ancient Parish Church of St. Peter was open for tours.
£27,000 raised for local charities
We are delighted to announce that over £27,000 was raised for three local charities and an additional £3,500 by the Sea Scouts. The organisers would like to thank the garden owners who so generously opened their gardens to visitors and the many volunteers who made the whole event possible.
